Knock knock, who’s there? Italian wallpaper manufacturer Instabilelab, which has branched out to offer what it calls Doorpaper. Intended for situations where replacing doors is impractical but transformation desirable, the company has released their wallpaper patterns as digitally printed door coverings in linen-textured polyester. Aristica and Color Line appear conceived by abstract painters. Ghutt’s enlarged letters recall vintage typesetting stamps. Zebrano is appropriately black-and-white striped, Knoss depicts a lifelike classical sculpture, and, in trompe l’oeil fashion, Profunda leads the eye down a vaulted hallway. The adhesive product is available in custom-sized rolls up to 51 inches wide, and is easy to install and clean.
